MANY STAGES TO BE REACHED...

TO CONQUER MILAN!

What are the rules to follow?
READ IT CAREFULLY!

The first stage to be reached, will be assigned to you at the start by the Jury.

From the second stage onwards, you will choose where to go, depending on your location and strategy.

Once you arrive on each stage, at the points indicated on the map, you must always:

1. Send a creative and fun selfie via WhatsApp, where the whole team is posed in front of the spot indicated in the cover photo of each stage (see images below)

 

2. Immediately after, you will receive, via chat, the password to find out the challenge you have to complete in that stage. Each stage has a different password

 

3. Read the text of the test to be passed. Then send, if required, the photo and the video created, to the Jury, via the form you will find.

 

4. Once the test is over, choose from the map the next stage to reach!​

STAGE A

PIAZZA MERCANTI

Piazza Mercanti is a picturesque square in Milan located very near the Duomo. During the Middle Ages, the plaza was the commercial and governmental centre of the city. It doesn’t currently have the same role, but it is still a charming Medieval area housing a number of unusual buildings.

DUOMO

Milan Cathedral, called Duomo di Milano in Italian, is a vast Gothic-style cathedral, located in the heart of Milan. It's 515 ft (157 meters) long and 302 ft (92 m) wide. It can house up to 40.000 people. Il Duomo di Milano is one of the largest Catholic churches in the world.

V. EMANUELE

The Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, which is sometimes nicknamed “il salotto di Milano” (Milan’s drawing room), is an elegant nineteenth-century shopping arcade. It houses some of the most luxurious boutiques in Milan.

TEATRO LA SCALA

La Scala, or Teatro alla Scala in Italian, is one of the most famous opera houses in the world. Its sober and elegant exterior never fails to surprise those that visit it for the first time.

PIAZZA AFFARI

Piazza degli Affari, a symbol not only of the Milanese economy but also of Italian financial activities, the square is mainly known for the presence of the headquarters of the national financial market, the Milan Stock Exchange, established here on January 16, 1808.

CASTELLO SFORZESCO

Castello Sforzesco (Sforza Castle) was built as a fortress during the fourteenth century and is one of the most famous landmarks in Milan. Presently, it houses one of the best museums in the city.

DI BRERA

The collection of the Pinacoteca di Brera includes some of the greatest masterpieces of Italian and foreign art from the 13th to the 20th century. The works are displayed on the first floor of the building, where the Academy of Fine Arts is also located.

VIA MONTENAPOLEONE

Via Monte Napoleone is a street in downtown Milan, considered one of the most luxurious areas of the city and a major center of ready-to-wear shopping. Via Monte Napoleone in 2019 was the third most expensive street in Europe and the fifth most expensive in the world, while in 2022 it was the most expensive street in Europe and the third most expensive in the world, according to Forbes.

SAN FEDELE

Located within the pedestrian area in the center of Milan, it takes its name from the 16th-century church of San Fedele that overlooks it. The small square, below the rear facade of Palazzo Marino, has a monument to Alessandro Manzoni (1883) at its center, whose family home was located in nearby Piazza Belgiojoso.

PIAZZA CORDUSIO

Piazza Cordusio is a square in Milan. Located where the court of the Lombard dukes once stood, hence Curia Ducis and later "Cordusio," it once represented the financial center of Milan, since it housed the headquarters of various financial institutions.

In the square, stands the monument dedicated to Giuseppe Parini, Italian poet and abbot.

TEATRO GRASSI

The first public Stabile in Italy, the Piccolo Teatro di Milano was founded on May 14, 1947, by Giorgio Strehler, Paolo Grassi and Nina Vinchi with the desire to give life to a theater intended as a public service: a necessary institution for the benefit of the entire citizenry, with the mission of bringing on stage quality performances aimed at the widest possible audience.
